systemic-dialogic work

An Integrative Path for Transformation and Relationship Building

Systemic-dialogic work is a process-oriented approach to guide transformation for:

* individuals

* teams

* organizations

Exploring patterns, inner movements, and systemic dynamics within a relational and dialogical field.

Systemic-dialogic work restores relationship as the primary space of learning and transformation. Healing and movement arise not through control, but through presence and reconnection.

Systemic-dialogic work rests on several foundational ideas:

- Relationship is central: Transformation happens in the space between.
- Every voice carries wisdom: Dialogical spaces welcome all perspectives.
- Systemic patterns operate below the surface: Awareness is the beginning of change.
- Real change comes from depth: Through sensing, reflecting, and co-exploration.

Relational Quality

A central aim of systemic-dialogic work is the cultivation of relational quality-within oneself, between people, and with the world. This quality is defined through six core capacities:

1. Freedom: Am I inwardly free in relationship?
2. Mobility: Can I move emotionally, relationally, physically?
3. Perceptibility: Am I tangible and present to others?
4. Touchability: Can I be affected and opened by others?
5. Permeability: Can I let things flow through me without holding or blocking?
6. Differentiation: Can I recognize what is mine and what belongs to others?

Systemic Constellation Work as Dialogical Practice

Systemic-dialogic constellation work differs from classical methods. It is not used primarily to find solutions through spatial reconfiguration, but rather to strengthen relational flow.

In this work, representatives are placed to explore the six relational qualities: freedom, mobility, perceptibility, touchability, permeability, and differentiation. Rituals and guided movements restore the field of relationship. Solutions arise not as predefined outcomes, but as second-order movements born from renewed connection and flow.

Background and Sources

Eelco de Geus has developed systemic-dialogic work, based on his experience of working many years with systemic constellations and dialogue processwork. Eelco bridges systemic thinking with deep listening, embodied presence, and the creation of spaces where insight and change can emerge organically. He is co-founder of the Dialogue Academie, Austria.

For ten years, Brenda is working together with Eelco to spread the systemic-dialogic work in the Netherlands. They continue to develop trainings for people working in healthcare, not only in the Netherlands but also abroad.
